About My Clients

You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, intergenerational trauma, identity concerns, burnout, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I especially enjoy supporting BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent individuals seeking a therapist who values authenticity, cultural humility, and collaboration. Together, we'll create a space where healing feels possible and sustainable.

My Background and Approach

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine partnership. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strengths-based. Rather than assuming there's a one-size-fits-all path to healing, I work collaboratively with each client to understand their experiences, identify their strengths, and develop goals that feel meaningful to them. When appropriate, I integrate evidence-based interventions to support the work we do together. I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and provide virtual therapy for adults across Texas. I am committed to ongoing professional development and continue pursuing advanced training to strengthen my clinical skills and provide the highest quality care possible. My goal is to offer a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to move toward the life you want—not the one you feel pressured to live.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing doesn't happen in isolation. Our identities, cultures, relationships, communities, and lived experiences all shape our mental health. Therapy should honor those experiences rather than ignore them. As a queer Latina therapist, I understand the importance of having a space where you don't have to explain or minimize parts of yourself to feel understood. I strive to create an affirming, culturally responsive environment where curiosity, compassion, and authenticity guide our work together. I don't believe therapy is about "fixing" people. I believe it's about helping people better understand themselves, reconnect with their strengths, and build a life that aligns with their values. Every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and genuine compassion, and those principles are at the heart of how I practice.
