About My Clients
Do you feel anxious and find your mind constantly worrying? Do you feel sad, down and hopeless? Do you find yourself struggling and stressed with the demands of everyday life? These feelings can be overwhelming and upsetting. I am here to support you as you work towards exploring, processing and learning how to better cope with these feelings to make positive changes that will improve your quality of life.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) providing telehealth to clients physically located in Massachusetts. I specialize in working with adolescents, college students, graduate students and young adults. I have experience working with this population in public schools, residential settings, outpatient community mental health clinics and private practice to address a wide array of concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, school challenges, career challenges, self-esteem issues and life transitions. I focus on the importance of building a therapeutic relationship with each client by providing them with a safe, non-judgmental space to explore and process their thoughts and emotions. I am able to connect and help with many difficult issues by using different evidence based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy and Strengths Based Therapy to help them achieve their goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I strongly believe that every client has hidden strengths that can be revealed through the correct therapeutic relationship. I believe all clients are more resilient than they realize and have the power within themselves to make positive changes that will benefit their everyday life.
