About My Clients
I work with teens and adults who may feel overwhelmed, burnt-out, stuck, emotionally disconnected, anxious, self-critical, or going through life stressors. Many of my clients struggle with avoidance, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, life transitions, emotional regulation, or feeling misunderstood by others. Some clients come to therapy wanting practical tools and support, while others are looking for a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in meeting each client where they are. I believe therapy should not feel one-size-fits-all. Some sessions may focus on processing emotions and building insight, while others may focus on coping skills, communication, boundaries, or navigating day-to-day stressors. I strive to balance emotional validation with practical support and gentle challenges that encourage growth at a pace that feels manageable. My goal is to help clients build self-awareness, increase emotional understanding, strengthen coping skills, gain clarity and develop tools you can use in your daily life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I view many emotional and behavioral struggles as adaptive responses to stress, pain, relationships, or past experiences rather than personal failures. Therapy is not about “fixing” who you are, but about creating space to better understand yourself, your experiences, and the ways you have learned to cope. I also believe progress in therapy is not always linear. Growth can involve small steps, increased awareness, learning new ways to respond to emotions, or simply allowing yourself to slow down and be honest about what you are experiencing. My role is to support clients in building insight, resilience, and confidence while helping them feel more connected to themselves and their lives.
