About My Clients
Maybe you find yourself living a life that isn't authentic, but you don't know any other way. Maybe you're caught in the same patterns and cycles of thinking, feeling, and relating, and you don't know how to shift them. I'm here to sit with you in the uncertainty as we discover that new way together, gain clarity on how to shift those patterns, and begin living in a way that feels more true to who you are.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is psychodynamic (considering how the past and unconscious impact the present), relational (our relationship as the foundation of therapy), somatic (how your feelings are experienced in your body), and contextual (your personal circumstances are not separate from the systems you live in). My work is grounded in depth psychology, meaning we'll focus on the source of your pain instead of just managing daily symptoms. Together, we'll look past temporary fixes to build long-term healing. I have a Master’s in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. My style is warm and patient, collaborative and engaged – I will ask you questions aimed at helping you know yourself better and also share what I notice and feel as a way to encourage and advocate for deeper self-understanding. I believe this awareness is the foundation of acceptance and change. I offer therapy to clients in San Francisco and online throughout California.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Underneath all of the modalities and approaches, a relationship that feels genuine, non-judgmental, and supportive creates a space where you can feel free to express yourself – a relationship where healing can happen. I find this is a great place to start when seeking a therapist to collaborate with in this deep, transformative work.
