About My Clients
My clients are typically Neurodivergent (Autism, ADHD, OCD, etc), Covid-cautious, or living with chronic illness. As someone with lived experience in all of these areas, I'm able to provide an understanding and supportive environment as you navigate the stressors that can come with being part of these communities. As a client, you're the expert of your own experience, and I'm here to support you with your own unique needs and goals.
My Background and Approach
I have my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and my Bachelor's in Psychological and Brain Sciences. I have experience working with both adults and children. I can work with you to build self compassion, advocate for your needs, and better support yourself. I use a strengths-based approach to help build a life that works for you, on your terms.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about Neurodiversity affirming practice and the impact of COVID-19 on mental health. I've created trainings for clinicians about the impact of COVID-19 on the brain, related mental health conditions, social justice considerations, and implications for clinical practice. I'm a Queer, Neurodivergent human living with chronic illness, and I draw on both my clinical training and lived experience to support clients in therapy.
