About My Clients
Many of my clients are mothers or soon-to-be mothers who are taking care of everyone around them while quietly struggling themselves. They may be navigating the unexpected challenges of pregnancy, postpartum, or motherhood while feeling overwhelmed, alone, isolated, anxious, or emotionally exhausted. Other clients of mine are adolescents, teens, and young adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, family/relationship issues, school stress, and life transitions.
My Background and Approach
My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches while tailoring therapy to your unique needs and goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe many of the people who need support the most are often the ones who appear to be doing just fine. They're the mothers quietly carrying the weight of everyone else's needs while feeling overwhelmed themselves. They're the teens who are misunderstood, labeled as "difficult," or expected to simply grow out of what they're experiencing. They're the young adults trying to navigate life's transitions while wondering why everything feels harder than it seems for everyone else. I also believe that isolation can be one of the most painful parts of struggling. So many people convince themselves that no one will understand what they're feeling, or that asking for help means they've failed. My hope is to create a space where you don't have to hide what you're carrying, explain why your feelings are "valid enough," or face life's challenges alone.
