Therapy that helps you reconnect with who you are - beneath the burnout, beyond the survival

Clinical Psychologist in Albany, CA

About My Clients

Many of my clients feel disconnected from themselves or the life they want to live. They may be carrying the weight of trauma, cultural uprooting, or emotional strain. Among them are young adults facing uncertainty, women entering menopause, older adults navigating change, creatives seeking meaning, and couples working to reconnect. They often sense that something important needs care, even when the words for it are hard to find.

My Background and Approach

As an immigrant psychologist and trauma-informed specialist, I offer a space where complexity and vulnerability are not only welcome but respected. Depending on your needs, I may draw from EMDR, psychodynamic therapy, or an integrative approach that blends relational depth with cognitive-behavioral tools. We begin with a structured, thoughtful intake to build shared understanding. I invite reflection, offer tools when helpful, and stay attentive to both symptoms and deeper experiences. I help people reclaim clarity, meaning, and creativity, especially when those parts have gone quiet under pressure, grief, or survival mode. Clients often feel supported early on and describe a growing sense of clarity and self-connection. I’ve practiced internationally for over 12 years and completed my doctoral training in the U.S. at The Wright Institute in 2023. My earlier background in organizational psychology and coaching helps me support clients facing career-related stress with nuance and care.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe we are not fixed, but fluid. I admire how people can adapt, rediscover a sense of self, and grow in unexpected ways, even after long periods of feeling stuck. As a psychologist with Ukrainian roots, whose family experienced the war, I bring a deep sensitivity to themes of loss, resilience, and belonging. I understand both European and American ways of thinking and often work with clients navigating cultural in-betweenness. Therefore, I approach therapy with a commitment to welcoming all parts of you, including the ones that feel uncertain, contradictory, or unfinished. I value emotional honesty, creativity, and quiet transformation. I affirm LGBTQIA+ identities and strive to meet each person with cultural humility and respect. My work is grounded in trauma-aware, anti-oppressive values. Therapy can be a place not only for insight, but for reclaiming your voice and creating a life that feels more honest, meaningful, and fully your own.
