About My Clients
I work with teens, adults, and parents across all stages of parenthood. A substantial part of my work includes supporting new and expectant parents through the journey of fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. Clients often come to me feeling stuck, overwhelmed, like they can't quite get a handle of how to manage all of the many things they are juggling. Together we work to understand, validate, and create a path forward towards a life of meaning, acceptance, and authenticity.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in NY, FL, and VT. I also hold a certification in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International, allowing me to provide specialized perinatal mental health care to new and expectant parents. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, relatable, but also direct. My approach is trauma-informed and strengths-based. I strive to help my clients balance acceptance and change- radically accepting who and how they are right now, while also helping them to work towards the goals they have and the life they want to live. I believe in applying evidence-based treatments flexibly and tailored to the individual needs of the client in front of me, striving to always be inclusive and culturally responsive.
