About My Clients

I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating mental health challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and mood disorders. Many of my clients are looking for more than quick fixes — they want understanding, practical strategies, and a long-term path toward feeling stable and in control of their lives. I especially support individuals who may feel overwhelmed by life’s demands, struggle with focus or motivation, or are experiencing persistent worry, sadness, or mood changes.

My Background and Approach

I am a doctoral-prepared, dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). With more than 15 years of healthcare experience, I have worked across urgent care, primary care, inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, and telehealth. This diverse background allows me to understand how mental and physical health intersect and to create treatment plans that truly support the whole person. I specialize in helping adolescents and adults manage ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, insomnia, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders. My approach is compassionate, practical, and collaborative — I believe in partnering with clients to understand their unique challenges and goals before designing a personalized plan. I combine evidence-based medication management with supportive therapy to help clients find relief, develop healthy coping strategies, and build long-term resilience. My goal is to create a safe, respectful space.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that mental health care should be compassionate, respectful, and tailored to each person’s unique story. Everyone’s journey is different, and I value listening deeply to understand where you’ve been and where you want to go. I believe healing happens when people feel safe, supported, and empowered to make changes at their own pace. I am passionate about breaking the stigma around mental health, especially in communities where seeking help can feel difficult or misunderstood. I strive to create an inclusive and welcoming space for people from all backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life. I approach care with cultural sensitivity and respect, knowing how important identity and lived experience are to mental wellness. I’m also committed to advocacy and empowering clients to take control of their health — both mentally and physically. My goal is to walk alongside you with understanding and practical tools that help you build confidence, resilience, and hope for the future.
