My Background and Approach
Based on my experience, thus far, I truly love guiding and empowering women. While being trained in trauma models (TFCBT, CBT, EMDR), I mostly appreciate supporting women through healing from past trauma (sexual abuse, domestic violence, traumatic accident, witnessing death, loss, etc.). which tends to be a common reason for depression, anxiety, self harming behaviors, and relationship struggles. I also enjoy supporting new couples in planning and preparing for marriage (through Prepare and Enrich and Gottman). As well as working with families in developing communication and strengthening their family dynamic. I look forward to meeting you and exploring whether this would be a good fit and place for you to find the healing that you may be looking for.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My relationship with God and connection through the Holy Spirit is very important to me as I work with my clients. I strongly believe that we are not alone, and as we seek Him through our pain or confusion, He will strengthen us and reveal His Glory, giving us healing and victory. Alongside all the great resources and knowledge I have gained through school and experience in the field, I invite God's Presence to our sessions to bring revelation, creativity, joy, peace and healing, to ultimately serve our family and others with our best potential.
