About My Clients
I serve the mothers who give everything until there is nothing left. My ideal client is the "overwhelmed mama" who is navigating the beautiful, exhausting chaos of parenthood—especially those raising children with autism. You are likely the family anchor, managing the mental load while silently drowning in survival mode. Whether you are battling high-functioning anxiety, deep depletion, or the unique grief of caregiver burnout, I provide a sacred space for you to finally be the one held.
My Background and Approach
As a Navajo Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Missouri and Utah, I offer a unique blend of clinical expertise and Indigenous wisdom. My approach is rooted in brain-based healing, specifically designed for mothers moving from survival to stability. I don’t just provide a place to vent; I provide a roadmap to recovery using evidence-based modalities like EMDR and Neurofeedback. By integrating these tools, I help you process "stuck" trauma so it no longer dictates your reactions today. My training in the Gottman Method helps you repair cracks in your relationships, while my experience with neurodiversity provides a specialized lens for parents of children with autism. Whether we are regulating your nervous system or exploring "Nativy" soul-work, every session is designed to refill your spirit. You benefit from a therapist who understands the IEP meetings, the sensory meltdowns, and the mental load, giving you the tools to finally be the steady anchor your family needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is more than a clinical process; it is a homecoming. As a Navajo woman, my worldview is centered on Hózhó—the philosophy of living in balance, harmony, and beauty. I believe that when a mother heals, she heals the generations before and after her. I am dedicated to decolonizing mental health by weaving Indigenous wisdom into modern neuroscience. I stand firmly in support of Indigenous sovereignty and the protection of our sacred traditions. My practice is a neuro-affirming and culturally safe sanctuary for those who have felt "othered" by Western medicine. Outside the therapy room, I advocate for maternal mental health equity and support the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) movement. Whether you are Native or simply drawn to a soulful, earth-centered way of being, I value the sacred thread that connects us. You aren't "broken"—you are simply out of balance. Together, we will find your Hózhó.
