About My Clients
I work with clients who come to counseling because they are ready to reflect, grow and better understand themselves. I work with individuals who are experiencing life style changes, have Codependency or Work- life balance concerns, Family of Origin Issues, Grief or Loss, Mood dysregulation, or interest in finding Life purpose. I have experience working with Multicultural/ Minority Groups, LGBTQ populations, non-religious and religious clients as well as EMT/Service and mental health professions.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in a number of topics including: Trauma, Anxiety, Self-esteem and Self- criticism, Helping professionals experiencing compassion fatigue or burnout, Depression, Women’s issues, Relationship and couples counseling, Body positivity, Gender and Sexuality exploration. I chose this profession because I know it makes a difference to feel heard, to process hard things in a safe space and create the changes and life you want with the tools learned in therapy. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a trauma informed, LGBTQ ally/ gender affirming practitioner, and BIPOC practitioner. I do not practice religious based counseling, however I do respect all religions and spiritual beliefs in my work with my clients because it can be powerful to utilize spirituality practices in finding meaning, purpose, connection and healing. I am a strong believer and advocate for all human rights, women’s rights, liberation and justice. My office is a safe space for all. I honor your life and needs. I believe that you are the expert in your own experience and I’m here to validate and empower you.
