About My Clients
When your life reflects the song, "I can't get no satisfaction" and you feel like you have run out of solutions, then you call me. Together we will focus on the "root" of the problem and not on the "feelings" that you have. Cognitive Behavior Therapy will assist you in moving from your feelings into your thinking, teaching you how to be responsive and not reactive while providing you with coping tools to get you through each day.
My Background and Approach
I began my private practice in 2008 by working predominantly with children so that I could assist them with building a positive self-image that would take them successfully into adulthood. Then the parents asked for therapy, and the aunts, uncles, and soon I was seeing entire families. Over the years the number of adults grew and well as couples having difficulty in their relationship. My approach is finding the root of the problem, and developing and implementing a treatment plan for healing and restoration. We work together on building positive self esteem, reducing negative self talk, setting measurable and achievable goals, assessing your life as it relates to your current developmental stage while giving you the tools to cope, maintain, sustain and achieve emotional stability. I love seeing my clients gain insight into self and moving forward with confidence. This is my greatest satisfaction as a therapist. Come see me!
