In family practice, I focus on strengthening family dynamics by approaching family work as a living breathing system and address challenges in communication and unearthing and resolving potential histories of intergenerational trauma.

My Background and Approach

My career spans over thirteen years in social services and research, working with clients surviving multiple adversities. Since 2016, I have devoted my direct clinical practice to the use of trauma-informed, culturally affirming and anti-racist interventions. I utilize an eclectic clinical approach and borrow practice techniques from Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
