My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with years of experience working with families with young children and teens, parent guidance or coaching, young adults, and adults with depression, and anxiety disorder. I am also an experienced group therapy leader, and having led groups with teens and young adults for over 5 years. I have experience working with individuals, families and groups. I am certified as a Youth Mental Health Specialist. I provide services to individuals and families experiencing a range of behavioral challenges, depression, anxiety, stress, and/or trauma. In my practice, I apply culturally responsive interventions, and faith-sensitive interventions. I have experience working with families with young children and teens. Through mental health therapy I have assisted parents, children, and teens, can address their feelings, face their fears, acquire guidance, refine communication and parenting skills.
