About My Clients
I see therapy as a collaborative process centering around empathy, warmth, and acceptance. You may be an adventurer, a free spirit, or a deep intuitive thinker— I understand the high highs and low lows that can occur in highly sensitive and curious minds. I am passionate about helping neurodivergent adults in times of transition, burnout, and overwhelm to find balance and navigate life’s hurdles. I also provide neurodiversity affirming adult ADHD and Autism evaluation services.
My Background and Approach
As a therapist, I learn what is most salient for you and utilize techniques based on your unique needs. No matter what approach we decide to take together, I create a space for healing, growth, and understanding. Everyone sees the world through their own lived experiences, I work alongside you as an ally, not an authority. I work from a neurodiversity affirming lens in which marginalization is addressed and nonconformity is embraced. As we are often told to change to fit society’s standards, I promote honoring your authentic self and find ways throughout the session to highlight your strengths. You may be an adventurer, a creative, an entrepreneur, or a deep intuitive thinker. I am here to allow you to be genuinely seen and understood. When you sit across from me on the couch or see me through the screen, I utilize my compassion, our partnership, and a holistic approach to learn about who you are, where you have been, and who you want to be.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone has the capacity to change and grow at any point in their life, while I also acknowledge systemic barriers and work toward dismantling them. Just as you are trying to change unhealthy patterns of behavior and discover new insights in therapy, I am also an imperfect human working to better themselves. I will laugh with you in session, ask for clarification, and sit with you in the uncertainty. No matter what approach we decide to take together, I create a space for healing, growth, and understanding. I address intersectionality and recognize areas in which I hold privilege. I do not claim to be an expert on other’s lived experiences, but I believe in everyone’s right to exist, love, and seek support. If you want to learn more about how I can help, please send me a message or visit my website. I look forward to working with you.
