Sometimes it can feel like we’re trapped in the torment of our own minds, all consuming, impossible to endure. Whether it’s unrelenting anxiety; suicidal thoughts; intense emotions; or depression, it truly hurts. This psychological pain is real pain, and I’m sorry you are experiencing it. I know it feels dark and lonely, enough is enough. I know because I’ve been there. I promise there is hope. You are worthy of a life full of meaning, dignity, and respect. There is a path back to okay again.
My Background and Approach
So many things may cause suffering throughout our lives, and sometimes we need someone to sit with us and help us explore our stories, discover, grow, heal, and most importantly meet our goals of therapy. My goal is to truly see you and provide you with a safe, supported, and confidential space to explore and process experiences and emotions with genuine, loving curiosity free of judgement. This is your time and space to work towards whatever is most important to you. Maybe it’s just feeling like you can finally breathe again and regain your internal sense of stability. Every step is one step closer to your ideal life. My hope is that by knowing you have my steadfast care and faith in your strengths, you can be empowered to go out into the world and try things differently. You can trust that no matter how far off you bravely venture, your safe harbor will still always be here.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I see each individual as a whole person with unique experiences, beliefs, and goals. We are all trying our hardest to be our best selves and live our best lives. I believe that our human connection is the ultimate foundation for positive change, healing, and growth. My own lived experience allows me to understand the true courage it takes to be vulnerable with another person, expose our pain and how we cope, and sit in that place of uncertainty not knowing exactly what change looks like. I would feel honored to sit with you during this chapter of your life.
