About My Clients
My ideal client feels stuck and also ready to explore patterns in their life, redefining identity, and have a willingness to make little shifts to further understand how to thrive and make decisions that supports their values. Remaining aware of our differences we will navigate what's important to you and help you uncover feelings about yourself and relationships.
My Background and Approach
I graduated with a Masters degree in Art Therapy Counseling from SIUE. During the last few years, I have worked with children and their families. I am currently working towards my licensing in Illinois under supervision with Inclusive Insight in Belleville, IL. I work from a person-centered, solution-focused, and psychodynamic theories to meet clients where they are and identify goals together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Walking with authenticity and honesty, I am a white, cis-gender, heterosexual woman. I highly value the diversity of our society and embrace our independant journey's through it. I believe in individual expression to help connect our conscious and unconscious thoughts, which helps an individual genuinely love and respect themselves. I support equity for all individuals, as we are born with value. I am an active ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, womans' rights, and the Black Lives Matter movement.
