About My Clients
At Mindful Care Counseling Services, I offer therapy in English and Spanish to help clients manage anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the challenges of adapting to a new culture. My approach is warm, compassionate, and culturally sensitive — rooted in the belief that healing begins when you feel seen, understood, and safe to be yourself.
My Background and Approach
For many of us, life’s changes can bring anxiety, self-doubt, or the feeling that we’re losing balance. Over the past 15 years, I’ve helped individuals and families learn practical tools to manage anxiety, strengthen relationships, and feel more grounded. My approach is compassionate, direct, and culturally aware — shaped by my own journey as an immigrant, wife, and mom raising children in a different culture. In our work together, you’ll gain techniques to calm your mind, manage emotions, and handle challenges with confidence. I draw from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to help you understand what’s happening in your body and thoughts, and how to create lasting change. You’ll leave each session with tools you can use anytime — because my goal is for therapy to empower you long after the session ends.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing is always possible, no matter where you are in life or what you’ve been through. I don’t think growth has an expiration date — we all have the ability to change, learn, and build a life that feels more peaceful and authentic. As an immigrant, wife, and mom raising children in a different culture, I’ve experienced how transitions, expectations, and identity can shape our emotions and sense of belonging. These experiences have taught me that strength often comes from moments of vulnerability, and that we grow the most when we give ourselves permission to slow down and be honest about what we feel. I believe therapy is a space for understanding, not judgment. You don’t have to have it all figured out — you just have to show up. I’ll meet you where you are, with warmth, empathy, and a few gentle reminders that you’re already doing better than you think.
