About My Clients
Clients who would benefit from my practice are individuals who want to better understand themselves, as well as those navigating stress, burnout, anxiety, grief, trauma, or depression. In my practice, I also support children who are having a hard time with tantrums, transitions, or sleep, along with couples who want to strengthen their connection and improve communication. In our work together, we’ll explore what’s beneath the surface of your challenges while meeting each person where they are.
My Background and Approach
I offer a compassionate, honest, and challenging space to support meaningful and lasting change for clients. I believe growth can happen when we move toward, and not away from, our discomfort, vulnerability, and complexity. I bring a curious, creative and integrative lens to therapy, shaped by my training in dance/movement therapy and the creative arts therapies. This allows me to offer clients alternative ways of accessing and processing emotions, especially when words don’t feel like enough. My practice is also informed by years of experience supporting people from diverse backgrounds, including BIPOC and queer-identifying clients, children with special needs, seniors, and new parents navigating shifting roles and identities.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a latinx, white-passing, queer, adult child of immigrants, I am particularly interested in working from trauma informed, anti-racist, anti-colonial and anti-oppressive understanding.
