About My Clients
Are you the caregiver of a child diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder? Does your child exhibit challenging behavior and have a hard time navigating the world around them? Challenging behavior can be very difficult to navigate! I am passionate about giving caregivers the appropriate training and skills to navigate these behaviors and teach their children appropriate skills to navigate their world.
My Background and Approach
I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and certified early childhood special educator in the state of IL. I have 7+ years experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) across a variety of settings. I have provided direct therapy in homes, clinics, and the school setting. I believe that the best approach to providing ABA therapy is through a compassionate team approach. Caregivers and their children are the most important component to effective change and teaching. I ensure that therapy is provided to children and effective training is given to parents, ensuring that what is being taught will fit into their daily lives. I want you, as a caregiver, to feel equipped and knowledgeable about behavioral principles. I want to give your child socially significant skills to help them learn and be successful.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all children have the capability to learn. I also believe that caregivers are the greatest teachers in their children’s lives. In this, caregivers deserve to be and feel supported. I also believe that care needs to be accessible across communities and populations. As a member of the Latinx and LGBTQ+ communities, I am passionate about providing a welcoming and understanding approach to therapy.
