About My Clients
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and self-aware but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck. Some are navigating relationship challenges, dating stress, or life transitions. Others carry the impact of past experiences that still shape how they see themselves or others. Together we slow things down, understand patterns beneath the surface, and create space for meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
Therapy with me is collaborative, reflective, and grounded in genuine human connection. In our work together, we slow things down and get curious about the patterns, experiences, and emotions shaping your life. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with individuals and families in community mental health, schools, and programs supporting veterans and their children. These experiences have shaped a trauma-informed perspective that recognizes how past experiences, relationships, and larger life contexts influence our wellbeing. My approach draws from EMDR, parts-informed work (influenced by Internal Family Systems), and mindfulness-based practices. Together we work to better understand your inner world, process difficult experiences, and develop new ways of relating to yourself and others so you can move through life with greater clarity, flexibility, and self-compassion.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens most powerfully in relationships that feel safe, respectful, and genuine. As a therapist, I aim to create a space where clients can bring their full selves - including the parts that feel uncertain, conflicted, or hard to talk about. My work is grounded in values of curiosity, compassion, and social awareness. I believe our mental health is shaped not only by individual experiences but also by family, culture, and larger social systems. Therapy can be a place to explore those influences while also reconnecting with your own strengths and agency. Outside of therapy, I’m interested in music, creativity, and the ways movement and expression can support emotional healing. I’m also continually learning and reflecting on how to practice therapy in ways that are culturally responsive and supportive of people from diverse backgrounds.
