About My Clients
My ideal clients are high-functioning individuals who struggle with bouts of Anxiety about wanting more out of life and seasons of Depression for not living up to their full potential. Individuals who occasionally feel stuck due to Imposter syndrome, Procrastination, Perfectionism, or Low-Self Esteem. Whether it’s a career change, starting a business, choosing a long-term partner, or choosing where to live. It is no secret that people who are self-assured do better in all spheres of life.
My Background and Approach
My techniques are based on the Humanistic approach and are very person-centered. I use EMDR, KAP, CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing as needed. I believe in a holistic approach to healing and use solution-focused therapy alongside other therapeutic techniques. I have a demonstrated understanding of the mind, body, and soul connection. My clients can expect a safe and nonjudgemental space to find guidance for whatever challenges they need support to work through.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people who spend valuable time looking for validation from other people run the risk of never achieving their personal goals. Having the self-awareness skills to prioritize and champion one’s goals doesn’t come easy, especially for those who grew up using people-pleasing as a coping mechanism. I believe that that also applies to historically oppressed or marginalized groups of people. I practice through the lens of social justice and equity. That's why I am a DEI practitioner and a board member in my town's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Commission. I pay close attention to the socio-cultural factors that contribute to certain behaviors.
