About My Clients
I serve a diverse group of therapy clients, including both adolescents and adults, who face challenges navigating life transitions and managing the emotional toll of depression and anxiety. These clients often struggle with significant changes, such as entering new stages of life, shifting family dynamics, or adjusting to new environments, which can exacerbate feelings of uncertainty and stress.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is centered on building a strong, collaborative relationship with my clients, where rapport is developed through mutual respect, understanding, and open communication. I believe that the therapeutic process is most effective when clients feel heard and understood, and when they actively participate in their own healing journey. To facilitate this, I employ a combination of Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Motivational Interviewing helps clients explore their own motivations and values, fostering a sense of empowerment and ownership over the changes they wish to make. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy provides a structured framework for identifying and challenging unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, promoting healthier coping strategies and emotional resilience. Through this integrative approach, I work alongside my clients to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
