About My Clients
I work with adults and couples who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—from themselves or others. Many of my clients are healing from trauma, anxiety, depression, or identity-related stress. They’re curious, insightful, and ready to understand what’s beneath the surface patterns keeping them from the life and relationships they want.
My Background and Approach
I’m a counseling psychologist specializing in trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment for PTSD, anxiety, depression, and identity-related challenges. My approach integrates CBT, ACT, DBT, CPT, PE, IFS, and mindfulness-based interventions to help clients build insight, flexibility, and resilience. I also incorporate expressive arts and self-compassion practices to help clients access emotion and meaning in new ways. Fluent in English and Mandarin, I provide culturally responsive therapy that honors the complex intersections of trauma, culture, and identity. My goal is to help each person move from surviving to living fully—with authenticity, courage, and self-understanding.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens in connection—with ourselves, others, and our communities. My work is grounded in compassion, cultural humility, and the belief that every person has inherent worth and the capacity to grow. I’m passionate about supporting clients from diverse and international backgrounds, particularly Asian and immigrant communities, and those navigating the intersection of trauma, culture, and belonging. Outside of therapy, I enjoy creative expression through art, mindfulness, and time in nature, all of which deepen my belief in the healing power of awareness and presence.
