Have you been feeling on edge, sad, or more overwhelmed than usual? Do you find yourself fixating on a particular thought? Are you finding it difficult to enjoy activities you once loved? The energy required to manage anxious thoughts or try to lift yourself out of depression can be taxing. Trying to cope can feel like a burden and at the same time leave you feeling isolated. From my experience, with the right tools and support you can get better. And I want to support you in doing so!
My Background and Approach
My clinical experience includes training in psychodynamic therapy. I take an integrative approach and weave CBT, mindfulness practices and somatic techniques with other orientations. In addition, I am working towards my certification in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International. I place a great deal of importance on understanding a person's unique identities and experiences that contribute to inequality, discrimination or privilege
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
The human experience can be both beautiful and incredibly difficult. And while there are so many things that can stand in our way, with the right tools and resources our strength and resilience can be found.
