About My Clients
I have worked with children, teens and adults over a period of many years. I am open to working with all genders and many types of issues. Over the past 20 years I did work in public schools and have a deep knowledge of school aged children and their families . I also have worked in a crisis setting with women, in hospitals and social service agencies with families and youth.
My Background and Approach
I am a clinical social worker and I take a holistic approach to each individual client. I believe that each client, child or family has specific and unique needs that can be addressed once trust is established. My understanding of human development and psychoanalytic processes helps me to offer useful insights that will guide my clients to obtaining a more positive life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal belief is that each person is capable of growing and improving their overall wellbeing. Mental health is part of each persons whole being, not separate from their physical health. When we are at our best it seems that our emotions and physical health are in tune and work as one.
