About My Clients

My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have been counseling children, families, couples, individuals, and groups within the foster care system, and residential care since 2003. I have worked closely with my client’s schools, and with DCFS, and have a background with working with adoptees, refugees and with indigenous peoples. I believe that every one of us has the capacity to heal and grow, provided they have the right support and environment. Many issues people bring into therapy that results from things that are out of their control. Such as unresolved grief /trauma and family conflicts that have resulted in behavior issues. I can help guide you through the healing process in a safe and supportive environment.
