I implement the use of psychodynamic therapy to help clients recognize, understand and overcome negative emotions associated with relationships earlier in life that are affecting current relational patterns. It is through this deep exploration that clients become aware of how earlier dynamics have impacted their decision-making, behaviors, relationships, and mood. Understanding yourself at a deeper level helps you become the best version of yourself as well as develop healthier relationships.
I implement an integrative approach to treatment, which means that I draw from different modalities of treatment including person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, interpersonal, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and exposure and response prevention among others, based on the client’s clinical symptoms, life experiences, and goals of treatment.
