About My Clients
Are you worried your child, teen, or you are carrying more than you can handle—struggling with anxiety, depression, or feeling misunderstood? I offer therapy in English and Spanish, using a trauma-focused, culturally competent approach to create a safe space. I support children, teens, and young adults facing depression, anxiety, self-harm, chronic illness, self-esteem struggles, and LGBTQ+ issues, helping them build resilience, coping skills, and hope.
My Background and Approach
I use a mix of proven approaches—like CBT, TF-CBT, solution-focused, and person-centered therapy—to give you tools you can use anytime, anywhere. My style is warm, supportive, and empowering, with a focus on helping you feel understood and building on your strengths. Together, we’ll practice strategies to calm your body, shift unhelpful thoughts, and regain a sense of control. Whether you’re a teen or young adult navigating tough emotions, or someone simply wanting to feel more confident and resilient, I’ll work with you to create real solutions that fit your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the ability to grow, heal, and create change in their lives. As someone who has experienced both depression and anxiety, I know how hard it can feel when those struggles take over—but I also know it’s possible to move forward and find relief. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and a Hispanic/Latina therapist, I value creating a safe, inclusive, and culturally affirming space where you can be your authentic self. I bring not just my professional experience but also my personal understanding of what it means to feel overwhelmed and how powerful it is to find the right support. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dog, who reminds me daily of the importance of connection, care, and presence. If you’re ready to take the next step toward feeling more empowered, I’d love to walk that path with you.
