About My Clients
My clients envision a more fulfilling life for themselves where they experience more joy, confidence and compassion. Often times, my clients are stressed, critical of themselves, and overwhelmed with their mental health and emotions. They may not have positive experiences or the knowledge to manage their emotions, experiences or identities.
My Background and Approach
I provide my clients with a safe space to be exactly who they are in that moment. From there I work with them towards whatever positive changes look like for them. Therapy with me will include lots of learning about how your brain works, how to rewire it to better meet your needs and exploring the unique needs, values and experiences you bring to each session. I focus on building actionable skills with clients so they are better equipped to handle life's inevitable challenges. I regularly seek client feedback to ensure our time together is valuable for you and practice authenticity and radical transparency with my clients. We work together to create a therapeutic experience that makes you feel excited about life and where your headed, and I believe that therapy should be tailored to your unique needs and values.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the best part of life is the innate human ability to adapt, grow and evolve. I have always been curious about human behavior and the complexities that come with this experience called life. I am informed by my own experiences with mental health challenges, and am a firm believer in using therapy as a way to experience what may be lacking in other relationships or environments in your life. I am also informed by my experiences as an Asian American, eldest daughter, and previous subscriber to hustle-culture. I believe in client autonomy and empowerment, and am a therapist for social justice and change. I am queer and neurodivergent affirming, and believe therapy is a space where you should feel safe to be your whole self.
