About My Clients
Life is full of obstacles, let's work on them together. When multiple stresses are creating tension, transitions are stretching you thin, or maybe you have an anxiety or addiction disorder, the validation and guidance from regular talk therapy can be a great source of relief and comfort. I have over 14 years of experience with Anxiety, Depression, OCD, ADHD, Addiction, navigating through college, and work or family adjustment challenges that can help you move through the hard times and thrive!
My Background and Approach
Let me help you take action and build practical coping skills you can use in your daily life. While validation is an important part of therapy, challenges such as anxiety, OCD, ADHD, addiction, and life transitions often benefit from tangible strategies that build autonomy and self-efficacy. I began my career specializing in behavioral health treatment for substance use disorders before transitioning to private practice, where I focus on young adults, women's issues, stress management, and anxiety disorders. My approach integrates CBT, Mindfulness, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, DBT, Behavioral Activation, Systems, Humanistic, and other evidence-based therapies to meet your unique needs. I provide client-affirming, evidence-based care and use measurement-based tools to track progress and help you recognize meaningful growth. I earned my bachelor's degree in social work from Rutgers University in 2013 and my MSW from Columbia University in 2014.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in people’s ability to change because I’ve been fortunate to witness profound and powerful transformations throughout my career. Change isn’t always easy, especially in the beginning, but I can attest that it is possible. With empathy, support, and the right tools, you can move toward a life that feels more fulfilling and manageable. I’ve seen people with anxiety, OCD, and ADHD develop coping strategies, manage difficult emotions, and accomplish meaningful goals. I’ve watched students who felt lost find their direction and succeed in school and their careers, women leave abusive relationships and discover peace and happiness, and people in recovery celebrate long-term sobriety while building joyful, fulfilling lives. My own path hasn’t always been smooth, and those experiences have deepened the hope I hold for my clients. I believe in your capacity to grow, heal, and create meaningful change—and I’ll be here to encourage you along the way.
