One of my biggest strengths as a provider are my ability to pick up on how clients interact with/relate to others in social relationships (e.g., exploring communication styles, boundaries, etc.). My approach involves exploring communication styles, teaching effective strategies, & engaging in role plays so that I can provide direct, honest feedback.

I have a deep understanding of the complexities of anxiety and its impact on daily life. Anxiety can manifest in various ways, and we will work together to explore how it shows up for you. My approach is rooted in challenging anxious thoughts and practicing mindfulness, techniques proven to help clients manage and reduce anxiety effectively. I work closely with clients to identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and build resilience.

I understand the profound impact that depression can have on one's life. My therapeutic approach is grounded in examining one's unhelpful self-talk, breaking the cycle of negative thinking and implementing behavioral strategies that improve one's mood. I work closely with clients to explore the underlying causes of their depression, develop more effective thought patterns, and develop strategies for coping with difficult emotions.

I believe in taking a trauma-informed approach to therapy, which means recognizing the profound impact that past experiences can have on mental health and well-being. My practice is centered on creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I believe that it is possible to heal without needing recounting every tiny detail about past traumas. Together, we will find strategies that make you feel safe, enriched, & alive again.

I incorporate mindfulness techniques to help clients develop greater self-awareness and emotional resilience. Doing so allows you to learn to respond to life’s challenges with greater clarity and calm. Throughout our time together, I will teach you tons of different techniques to practice in your own time so you can continue building upon your coping skills.

I utilize CBT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. By working together to reframe unhelpful thinking and develop more effective coping strategies, you can achieve meaningful and lasting changes in your mental health. You will learn countless of practical tools to help empower you in creating a more balanced and fulfilling life.
