About My Clients
I am especially passionate about working with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, chronic illness, stress, OCD, life transitions, relationship concerns, and self-esteem concerns. While therapy can sometimes feel challenging, I believe it also provides an opportunity for growth and empowerment. Together, we will work toward your goals to enhance your overall well-being and quality of life.
My Background and Approach
I am a Limited Licensed Counselor with a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling and a bachelor's degree in psychology with minors in criminal justice and addiction studies. I have previously worked at Oakland University's counseling center and at the YWCA assisting survivors of domestic violence. My approach to therapy is compassionate, non-judgmental, and personalized to your unique needs and experiences. I use an integrative style, drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) along with other modalities such as Motivational Intervieiwng and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the ability to grow and create meaningful change in their lives. In therapy, my goal is to provide a collaborative and supportive space where you feel respected, seen, and heard. Seeking support can feel vulnerable, and reaching out is often the hardest step. If you are considering therapy, I invite you to reach out. Healing begins with connection, and I would be honored to walk alongside you in the process.
