About My Clients
Do you feel stuck between who you’re expected to be and who you actually are? Maybe you’re a BIPOC or queer adult navigating anxiety, burnout, or identity confusion and tired of feeling like you’re the only one carrying it all. I work best with folks who’ve been told to “just push through,” but are ready to slow down, tune in, and finally center themselves. You don’t have to do this alone. Let’s figure it out together.
My Background and Approach
I’ve spent the past three years helping clients unpack anxiety, cultural pressure, and identity stressors with warmth and structure. I’m trained in Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Solution-Focused approaches. That means we’ll work collaboratively to understand what’s driving your patterns and build tools you can actually use between sessions, whether that’s setting boundaries, interrupting spirals, or making values-based decisions. I believe in blending insight with action. Together, we’ll make space for your lived experience, challenge internalized “shoulds,” and shift how you relate to your thoughts, your body, and your story. My goal is to help you walk away not just with clarity, but with real strategies that support you in showing up for your life in a new way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy should be a space where all parts of you are welcome, not just the ones that feel polished or acceptable. I’m deeply committed to supporting BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and immigrant communities, and my work is shaped by values of cultural humility, social justice, and collective care. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all healing, your context matters. Outside of therapy, I stay engaged in advocacy for mental health access, queer and trans rights, and dismantling systems of oppression. I also believe in joy, rest, community, and the importance of not taking ourselves too seriously even in hard seasons. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you; it’s about creating space to return to yourself.
