About My Clients

I primarily work with individuals navigating trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, unhealthy relationship patterns, identity exploration, and recovery. Many are high-functioning while privately carrying overwhelm, self-criticism, or disconnection. Together, we build self-understanding, emotional regulation, relational clarity, and a stronger sense of agency in a grounded, collaborative, and compassionate space that supports lasting growth, resilience, and meaningful personal change over time.

My Background and Approach

My approach to therapy is integrative, trauma-informed, and relational. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, attachment-based approaches, and NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), with particular attention to nervous system regulation, emotional patterns, and the ways people adapt in response to difficult or overwhelming experiences. I have experience working with trauma, addiction and recovery, mood disorders, attachment wounds, emotional dysregulation, and personality patterning across varying levels of clinical acuity. While insight is important, I believe meaningful change also involves developing a different relationship with yourself, your emotions, your body, and your internal world. My goal is to work with you to create a space that feels collaborative, grounded, emotionally honest, and supportive of realistic and sustainable growth.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy is most effective when it honors the full complexity of a person, including their identity, culture, history, relationships, and capacity for growth. Although many of us carry survival patterns, emotional wounds, or protective strategies that once made sense in difficult environments, the possibility of growth exists for all. I approach my work through a culturally responsive and queer-affirming lens, with particular attentiveness to historically underserved communities and the ways systemic, relational, and intergenerational experiences can shape emotional wellbeing. I believe healing does not require abandoning who you are, only developing a safer, more compassionate, and more honest relationship with yourself. I value your curiosity, accountability, emotional depth, and authenticity within the therapeutic relationship. My hope is to create a space where you feel respected, challenged thoughtfully, and able to show up more fully as yourself without shame.
