My Background and Approach
I have been practicing as a Counselor for the last 8 years. I have serve in a variety of settings such as an immigrant children shelter, a child advocacy center, psychiatric partial hospitalization programs and private practice. I am also certified to provide Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy, both therapies are evidenced based practices to improve symptoms of PTSD after a traumatic event in children and adults.
