About My Clients
You may be feeling stuck in patterns of anxiety, depression, or disconnection in your relationships. I work with individuals, couples, and families who want to better understand themselves and each other, repair relational distress, and create more secure, meaningful connection. My work focuses on attachment injuries, relationship patterns, and the impact of stress and systemic oppression on relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience supporting individuals, couples, children, and families navigating relational distress, trauma-related concerns, and the impact of systemic stressors. My approach is grounded in attachment and systems theory, with a trauma-informed and relational lens that emphasizes understanding patterns in relationships and creating meaningful change in how people connect. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I bring over five years of experience in community mental health and inpatient addiction treatment, which informs my collaborative, flexible, and relational approach to care. I am affirming of LGBTQ+, kink, and polyamorous relationships and provide a sex-positive, nonjudgmental space for exploration and healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens in the context of safe, responsive relationships, both inside and outside of therapy. Much of my work focuses on understanding relational patterns and helping people create new ways of responding to themselves and others. I value collaboration in the therapeutic process and see therapy as a space for both reflection and change. Sometimes that looks like slowing things down and making sense of patterns; other times it involves more active skill-building and support. I approach my work with cultural humility and a respect for the complexity of people’s identities, relationships, and life contexts.
