My clinical orientation and therapy style uses a strengths-based and solutions-focused approach, honoring you as the expert of your life. I practice intersectional feminist therapy, which means I believe the systems we live in greatly influence our identities and experiences and explore that in the therapeutic process. Depending on your needs, I use a variety of therapeutic modalities and approaches.
Above all, I want you to feel comfortable in our work together. There’s an idea that therapy is cold and stuffy, but that’s not how I do things. You’ll get me as I really am and in turn, I hope you find you can be your full self with me, too.
My commitment is that therapy will be a collaborative, brave space to share your story and have it be received with full acceptance and empathy. We will center your identities, experiences, expertise, and goals to support your desired therapeutic outcomes.
