About My Clients
I work with adults facing trauma, PTSD, abuse recovery, divorce, and major life changes. Many of my clients feel stuck in patterns or reactions that no longer serve them, or carry stress that shows up in both body and mind. I also specialize in supporting first responders, veterans, and parents in high-conflict custody situations. Using EMDR, IFS, and expressive arts, I help clients reprocess experiences, regulate their nervous systems, and move beyond survival.
My Background and Approach
Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly two decades in the medical field, which gave me a strong understanding of how stress and trauma affect both the body and mind. Today, as an EMDRIA-certified trauma therapist with advanced training in EMDR, IFS, and expressive arts, I provide individual therapy for adults in Green Bay and across Wisconsin via telehealth. My practice focuses on PTSD, abuse recovery, divorce, anxiety, and major life transitions. My approach is direct, collaborative, and grounded in respect for each person’s expertise in their own life. EMDR helps reprocess traumatic memories so they no longer dominate the present, while IFS supports compassionate work with protective and wounded parts. Expressive arts provide creative pathways when words aren’t enough. I believe therapy is about recovery, regulation, and clarity—helping clients move beyond survival and reclaim what matters most.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are not broken—they are human. The ways we adapt to hardship are not defects but survival strategies, and therapy should respect that. My role is to provide structure, insight, and effective tools so clients can reprocess experiences that keep them stuck and move toward recovery. I use EMDR, IFS, and expressive arts to support nervous system regulation and lasting change. My approach is direct, collaborative, and grounded in respect for each person’s expertise in their own life. I do not believe therapy is about “fixing” people or forcing positivity, but about helping clients gain clarity, steadier footing, and the capacity to make different choices. In my Green Bay practice, I specialize in trauma therapy, PTSD, and recovery after divorce, serving clients across Wisconsin in person and through secure telehealth. Everyone deserves the chance to live beyond survival and reclaim what matters most.
