About My Clients
Many of my clients are young adults and adults navigating anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, identity questions, or major life transitions. They often feel stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand or overwhelmed by the pressure of figuring out what comes next. Together, we explore those patterns with curiosity while building practical tools to help them move forward with more clarity, confidence, and self-understanding.
My Background and Approach
My path to becoming a therapist wasn’t exactly linear. I originally began my career in accounting after graduating from Rutgers University. While the work offered stability, I eventually realized I felt disconnected from the deeper sense of purpose I wanted in my life. Returning to therapy during that time helped me better understand my own patterns, values, and what truly mattered to me. That experience ultimately led me to pursue counseling. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and currently practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in Texas. My approach to therapy is collaborative, curious, and compassionate. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up as you are — even when things feel messy, confusing, or overwhelming. I draw from person-centered therapy while incorporating other tools, helping clients better understand their patterns and building practical skills to navigate life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when people feel safe enough to be honest about what they’re experiencing, even when things feel messy, confusing, or overwhelming. Many of the people I work with are trying to make sense of emotions, relationships, and patterns that don’t always have clear explanations. My role is to create a space where we can slow things down, explore those experiences with curiosity, and begin to understand what may be underneath them. I believe meaningful change happens through a combination of insight, compassion, and practical tools. While understanding the past and the patterns we’ve learned along the way can be important, therapy is also about helping people feel more empowered in the present. Together, we work to build awareness, develop skills, and explore new ways of responding to life’s challenges. At the heart of my work is the belief that people are capable of growth and change when they feel supported, understood, and given space to reflect without judgment.
