About My Clients

I work with a range of clients but find myself mostly working with those who have experienced childhood trauma. I work with anxiety, binge eating, and chronic illness. I specialize in trauma especially around religion, education and childhood.

My Background and Approach

I'm all about making connections to my clients which means that I take on a more conversational approach to therapy. I try to be as transparent as possible, request feedback from my clients, and will attempt to adjust my approach to fit your needs. I don't start therapy with asking you about your deep dark traumas. I like to get to know you first. I like to know who you are: your interests, personality and how you handle good and bad things. Once we're feeling like we know each other better, we get into deeper conversations. Changing patterns, creating new narratives and changing emotions are something to accomplish during this time. I utilize a psychodynamic approach to therapy that includes but is not limited to CBT, DBT, and CPT.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
I have experience with the following
  • The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
  • Judaism
