About My Clients
I believe sometimes we come to a place in our life, where we need support to untangle what has been thrown at us. When we have the right tools and supports, we all have the power to heal and grow. I provide a safe place to validate your feelings, work at your pace, while empowering you to discover what works and change what no longer is serving you.
My Background and Approach
The basis for my work is in CBT, DBT, narrative and humanistic approaches. My philosophies are person-centered and strength-based. I have many years of disability experience and education. All of this has taught me to respect and embrace the diversity, equity, and inclusion of others. It is our unique experiences that make us who we are and can help us to gain insight into our world.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I want to honor what makes you, you. I recognize we are all shaped by our stories, by our culture, society, family, friends, and life experiences. I am down-to-earth, open-minded and come from a non-judgmental stance. I believe strongly in the power of connection and mindfulness can help us reconnect with our innate self.
