About My Clients
You may be managing anxiety or depression, feeling burned out, or adjusting to a change at school, work, or home. I work with teens ages 13+ and adults on relationships, boundaries, self-esteem, grief, pregnancy/postpartum concerns, and other challenges. You can bring a clear goal or simply the sense that something needs to change. We’ll explore what matters to you and choose practical steps together.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Washington LMHCA practicing with clinical supervision, with an MS in Psychology from Arizona State University (2020). My behavior technician background and ABA training inform my practical approach. I draw from CBT, person-centered, solution-focused, strengths-based therapy, and motivational interviewing. In-person sessions are through Mindful Therapy Group in Mountlake Terrace on Mondays and Saturdays. Please contact me first to discuss fit; I’ll then refer you to Mindful intake. For online counseling in Washington through Counseling Services for Wellbeing (CSFW), contact its intake team. My website explains both options. The $125 self-pay rate and listed insurance apply to Mindful in-person care. Accepted plans include Aetna, Cigna, Cigna EAP, Kaiser Permanente, Kaiser Permanente Northwest, Premera Blue Cross, Regence, United Healthcare, and United Healthcare EAP. No sliding scale. CSFW intake confirms telehealth fees and insurance.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe counseling should respect your experience, values, and choices. You deserve room to speak honestly, ask questions, and help shape the pace and direction of our work. I value practical progress, self-understanding, and the strengths you already bring. If you want to include Christian faith in counseling, we can discuss how that fits your goals; faith-based work is guided by your preferences.
