I am passionate about helping clients who are interested in actively engaging in treatment to live more fulfilled lives.
My Background and Approach
I am an expert in health and geriatrics and specialize in the treatment of adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, life transitions, multicultural issues, grief, healthy aging, as well as work stress and burnout. I use evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and humanistic interventions to help you achieve your goals. Additionally, I consider the biological, psychological, socio-cultural, and environmental factors that impact your unique experience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that psychotherapy is most beneficial when you feel understood and supported by your therapist. I strive to create a safe space to do this work, which is best facilitated by empathy and privacy, trust, and inclusivity, as well as individualized and collaborative care.
