About My Clients

My Background and Approach
I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, transitions, relationship problems, and work difficulties. My approach is holistic, honoring the mind-body connection and individual strengths. My style is warm, honest and nonjudgmental, and my practice draws from psychodynamic psychotherapy, mindfulness, EMDR, internal family systems, and attachment-based neuroscience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the inherent worth and resilience that lies within each of us. Sometimes we experience things in life that negatively impact that way we feel about ourselves or others--but we don't have to carry the weight of these experiences around with us forever. We have the tools to make things better. I work best with clients who have a natural curiosity about themselves and others. I believe it is a gift--and not a problem--to be born with the innate capacity for deeper thinking and emotional sensitivity--and that honoring and cultivating these capacities can make the world a better place for everybody.
