About My Clients
I have a desire for working with veterans, active duty service members and their families. Through working in my current practice I have developed a passion for working with teenagers as well. This population was not one I ever thought I would be drawn to and today they are among my favorite to work with. Helping those who want to make changes in their lives, talking about their struggles and supporting those who need a shoulder, that is what I see as my job.

I take an eclectic view of theoretical bases and pull from a variety of modalities, techniques, and theoretical practices. I look forward to providing you with a personalized approach tailored to meet the needs of your situation.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a spouse to a retired service member and mother to three amazing children, I can offer an “insider’s” perspective to military (active or retired) families. I have a passion for being able to support our military members, veterans, and their families. I am also developing a strong advocate heart for working with and supporting the autistic community. Through my internship and practice I have also developed a strong pull for working with teens and the LGBTQIA+ population. I am still learning how to be a good ally and working hard to practice inclusivity and supportive counseling both in my practice and my life.
