My Background and Approach
In my work I utilize psychodynamic, CBT, talk therapy, and art therapy interventions. I provide these interventions with an awareness of, & respect for, diversity of culture, ethnicity, gender, & sexual orientation.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that mental health is not just psychological but environmental as well. Environmental stressors like friendships, finances, social media, and social issues affect us mentally. I love particularly helping teens who are experiencing concerns with their mental health as a former teen who struggled. When I am not working at The Tucker Group, I am a school social worker in the NYC area. As someone who struggles with anxiety, I know personally how it affected my overall well-being. I believe therapy is collaborative and I am excited to work with clients and their families to help them reach their goals and overcome struggles/barriers.
