About My Clients
I offer culturally specific services for QTPoC, sex worker, kink, and ethically non-monogamous individuals and relationships. My clients see me for a variety of reasons including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, dealing with racist oppression, gender affirmation surgery letters, PTSD, gender exploration, adjustment to life changes, learning communication skills, and setting boundaries. Relationship counseling services are available to 2 or more people.
My Background and Approach
I graduated with my Masters of Science in Marital and Couples Counseling from Portland State University in 2016. My counseling style is very individualized and insight oriented. I provide a safe place so that my clients can explore their behaviors and feelings on a deeper level and learn healthy coping skills. I don't have a one size fits all approach to my client problems. I choose from many modalities in my practice including EMDR , attachment theory, narrative therapy, CBT, mindfulness, and internal family systems. My role as a counselor is that of a guide. The journey and destination are yours to choose and I only hold the compass.
