About My Clients
In my work I use a person-centered and trauma-informed approach where the priority is to walk alongside you as we navigate what life has thrown your way. Whether it be a one-time event or a lifelong struggle, I hope to use evidenced-based approaches, my education, and experience to guide you towards healing. We will work together to equip you with the necessary tools and resources that fit your needs.
My Background and Approach
You are not too far gone or too broken, and your struggles are valid. I am eager to work with clients ages 15+ who may be experiencing postpartum struggles, relationship issues, religious trauma, symptoms of anxiety or depression, life transitions, state of the world, neurodivergencies, trauma and PTSD, and grief and loss. I am trained in EMDR, motivational interviewing, ASIST (applied suicide interventions skills training), and certified in Intuitive Eating. I have experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief and loss, disordered eating, neurodivergence, and self-harm and suicidal ideation.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Meeting people where they are at is very important to me. This includes finding ways to conduct our sessions in a meaningful and fulfilling way. Don’t feel like talking? Let’s draw it out. Let’s sing, dance, use Play-doh,…the list goes on! We can get creative with what you resonate and connect with most. This is time for you to feel validated in what makes you, YOU. And that includes how we go about each session.
